I spent most of my career doing network engineering and management for state and local government. I seek a management or engineering opportunity where I can help an organization reach our common goals.
I currently work as the Information Security Officer for Corpus Christi ISD where I manage a team of 3 to help protect PII from cyber attacks. I have achieved a CCISP certification and am working toward a OSCP. I have interests in network engineering and building data centers.
This enthusiasm comes from my years of administering and managing teams over medium sized networks (500+ nodes). I have CCISP, CCNP, A+, Network+, others.. I have experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, EIGRP, ISP, BGP, iBGP, MPLS, LDP, Vlans, VoIP, and many more..
Management of Information Systems (Bachelor) - Information systems degree with a blend of administrative and technical courses including program design, C++, finance, statistics, and more.
Masters of Public Administration - Based in political science, degree is geared for managing policies in a government organization, researching outcomes of policies, government and legal concepts, working in teams to learn how to provide efficiency, equity, economy and effectiveness in government.
