David Murphey

I believe that jobs and decisions that I have made in my life have molded me into the person that I need to be now for my son. I have a ten (11) year old autistic son and being a public servant most of my life has helped me to be patient with him and others. It has helped me communicate and support others in their time of need.

I am very dedicated and honest, and I love working and have no issues working overtime if given the opportunity. I love teaching new people and sharing what I have experienced in my life

32 years in Public Service between Fire, EMS and Police organizations.

8 years in the private sector working for friends and my father who owned his own business. Learned the value of helping others over the value of making money. Seeing firs hand the joy my father provided others with helping them in their time of needs helped me to become a better person and better public servant.

Associates degree in Criminal Justice and Associates of Art.
