Every job I have worked, I have treated clients and students as customers. They are paying for my service, whether it's to sell an item, edit a document, or teach them how to use Word, they are a customer. I believe that happy customers come from happy employees, and I have been searching for a work place who believes the same. I also believe in going above and beyond to help others. Nothing makes a job feel more worth while than to know I've helped someone's day be a bit better.
I freelance as an editor or writer on a case-by-case basis.
Most of my prior work experience has been in retail, online customer service, or in person customer service. I spent many years being a mother and going to college. I have had a lot of diverse interests, and almost always volunteer my time to help customers and others in that area of interest. I learn everything I can about the job I have. And I always strive to be the best at it.
I have a Masters in English, and 3/4th of an MBA. My bachelor's is also in English, with a focus in creative writing. The English Masters is focused on Rhetoric and Technical Communication.
