Delaney Murphy

I am a current 3L who will be sitting for the July 2026 bar examination, and I am seeking to begin practice following bar admission. I have been working in family law for nearly eight years as a legal assistant and a paralegal prior to and during law school. Family law is an area of law in which I have built a strong foundation and intend to practice long term.

I started working at a family law firm in 2018 as a legal assistant, and I upgraded my title to a paralegal in 2022. I have worked on a wide range of family law matters from pro-bono work with military clientele to high-asset divorces.

I graduated undergrad within 3 years at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I took a gap year where I worked full time at a family law firm and received my paralegal certificate. Now I am currently a 3L at Northern Illinois University College of Law.
