With a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, I specialize in CFD, aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, rotorcraft design, structural dynamics, and machine learning. I have over 5 years of experience in CFD applications and computational tool development. I have also engaged in propulsion system designs for eVTOL aircraft.
Currently, I work as an aeroacoustics and CFD engineer developing propulsion systems for eVTOL aircraft. I have analyzed several open and ducted rotor geometries using RANS- and LBM-based CFD tools and created design tools to optimize ducted rotor designs using genetic algorithms and machine learning. Previously, as a graduate research assistant at the University of Maryland, I analyzed the propeller-wing integration of several eVTOL aircraft designs and developed aeroacoustics and geometric meshing tools to support the CFD analyses.
I graduated from the University of Maryland with a PhD and MS in Aerospace Engineering. I took courses in helicopter aerodynamics, rotorcraft design, scientific computing, aeroacoustics, dynamics, and control.
