Financial Analyst

• Assist in key month-end activities to provide oversight of the completion and accuracy of the monthly reports by conducting transactional research and preparing monthly financial reporting
• Review monthly/quarterly P&L reports and perform variance analysis
• Upload and reconcile forecast submissions into the Essbase cubes
• Initiate and maintain communication with finance stakeholders regarding deliverable timelines, potential data issues and analytical findings.
• Assists budget manager by conducting various surveys, research, data analysis, cost-benefit analyses, and expenditure and revenue forecasting.
• Assists with projecting future financial needs and collaborates with budget manager and other management personnel to prepare long-term financial plans, and other budget and financial reports.

• Record journal entries, primarily via uploads into the general ledger.
• Validate and analyze plan and forecast submissions, identify errors and Inconsistencies, and resolve issues with the respective financial contact.
• Review cost center budget packages, P&L and BS bridges for completeness, accuracy, and timing.
• Support Preliminary & annual budgeting process in conjunction with Financial Planning & Analysis and IT Budget Owners.
