About
My name is Dina John, and I am a bilingual legal assistant with substantial experience in litigation, state court and federal law. Specialized in having strong skills in case management, legal writing, legal research, scheduling and attention to detail, I am eager about the law and learning from it. I graduated with a BA in Political Science and Sociology, with a focus in Constitutional law and Political Systems.
When in University, I interned for a private litigation law firm, as well worked as a private tutor. After college, I earned a job as a Judicial Assistant, for my state's Superior Court. I was trained in gaining understanding of civil, criminal, probate, and family law, and how it applies to our Court Systems.
I was responsible in providing clerical and administrative work with heavy data entry, case processing, and handling payments. Afterwards I briefly worked as a legal assistant for the United States Attorney's office. My role was drafting legal documents, subpoenas, working closely with federal agents, and assisting on white collar crime and immigration.
Currently I am looking to freelance as a legal assistant. I guarantee meeting deadlines, communication, and ensuring that my work is meeting satisfactory.
