The experiences outlined have allowed me to serve others for 30 years through pastoral care, grief counseling, and teaching in hospitals, hospices, churches, and community environments. These experiences enabled me to connect with and assist individuals and groups in numerous situations. Proficiencies in leadership, teaching, family and organizational dynamics, patient advocacy, and community relationships are among the competencies developed through working with various professional and volunteer organizations.
I have served as a chaplain in trauma at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where I completed a clinical pastoral education internship. I have been a chaplain at Mobile, Alabama; Piney Wood Country Life School, Mississippi; and the Ohio Veterans Children's Home, Xenia, Ohio.
I have CPE education from Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. I have earned a Doctorate from Southern Methodist University
