Managed a book of business with over 50 customers as well as handling logistics operations. Cold called businesses and converted prospects into customers through understanding their logistics issues and offering a tailored solution. Quoted customers who were in need of a vehicle to move freight and brokered a vehicle to deliver the material. Analyzed data and rate trends to ensure accurate rates for all parties involved. Acted as intermediary of communication between carriers and customers and came up with quick, creative solutions to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction. Would frequently speak with customers to get to know them on a personal level and grow strong customer relationships.

Fastenal

Sales and Supply Chain Intern / June 2021 – August 2021

Communicated with customers who had an account with Fastenal for hardware and other industrial supplies. Processed orders and developed invoices. Learned the value of account management and keeping long term customers satisfied. Packaged, loaded, and delivered orders to customer site. Stocked inbound inventory, updated inventory levels, and cycled out inventory that was not being used for transfer to other Fastenal locations.

Usher and Ticket Taker / October 2019 – March 2022

Scanned tickets and communicated any changes for patrons attending events. Ushered patrons their seats and patrolled the concert area to keep isles clear.
