I recently graduated from Columbia University with a master's in materials science and engineering and look forward to opportunities in my field. I am searching for positions in semiconductor manufacturing, lithography, optics, or metallurgy.
As someone with an undergraduate background in physics, I find the materials synthesis and characterization process fascinating and the many potential applications exciting. I have experience researching nanomaterials such as transition metal dichalcogenide lateral heterostructures, black phosphorus, graphene, hexagonal boron nitride, and nitrogen vacancies in diamonds, and theoretic and practical experience with synthesis and characterization methods including plasma dry etching, photolithography, oxide etching, wet etching, atomic layer deposition, chemical vapor deposition, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and Raman spectroscopy.
I am seeking opportunities to apply my theoretical and technical knowledge and work with fellow scientists to seek answers to complex problems.
