Eliza Shane

I'm a sophomore at Elon University majoring in Business Analytics with minors in Accounting and Leadership Studies. I'm very involved in student life and academic extracurriculars, as I am a member of Leadership Fellows and a member of Periclean Scholars. I am also on the DEIAB committee with Tri Delta Sorority.

These experiences have contributed to my interpersonal and communication skills and have taught me how to be an empathetic leader who values the different experiences and backgrounds of my peers. I worked as an Adventure Counselor at URJ Camp Harlam for two summers, learning valuable skills such as conflict resolution, responsibility, emotional intelligence, and technical skills needed to run high ropes courses. I currently hold three on-campus jobs at Elon University, all of which involve marketing, event planning/management, and customer service.

Through these jobs I've learned how to collaborate with team members effectively, run events with hundreds of students, and execute engaging activities relating to sustainability and wellness. I am a certified Microsoft Office Associate and am working towards my Expert certification. In my classes for the upcoming academic year, I will gain experience in Python, Tableau, and SQL.

I'm looking for an internship for the spring or the summer of 2024 in business analytics, project management, or financial services.
