Junior project manager for the Solar Carport division. Part of my assignment was to review project requirements with sales team and with customer’s representatives. As project manager I have coordinated the RFI process and the timely response of all RFIs, assisted procurement staff in issuing vendor/supplier RFQs and RFPs, and made job sites visits to coordinate customers, suppliers, and trade contractors. Duties included attending Owner progress meetings, communicating logistics, timing, field work and performed sit audits with clients, and performing contract administration activities. Managed 14 sites of carport projects which included schools and shopping centers parking lots.

As a Project Designer/PM in training for Solaire Generation, Main responsibilities were coordinating with the customer’s design and drafting staff and produced site plans and site layout documents.

Duties included: researching, coordinating, and producing documents that supported ADA, fire, and other code compliance issues related to Solaire’s products, coordinated external engineering consultants and coordinated and verified receipt of up-to-date contract documents. Also I have prepared quantity take-offs and maintained vendor/supplier database and contact information. Other responsibilities included coordinating approvals, submittals, and inspections, as required and issuing project close-out documentation.

SOLTEK PACIFIC GENERAL CONTRACTORS San Diego, CA

Junior Architect for Soltek Pacific. Participated in multiple projects including the San Diego naval hospital ophthalmology department and a historical renovation for the main building of the Naval Postgraduate school in Monterey. Responsibilities included: preparing construction documents for review by a government entity and preparing spec and equipment lists. Duties also included meeting fire, life safety, and ADA codes and coordinating with subs and consultants.

As Junior Architect my responsibilities was mainly focused on residential projects and interior design and that included: preparing construction documents for the city of San Diego permits, analyzing California Building Code, and assisting with conceptual design for residential projects. Administrative work included contacting clients, organizing office documents, scanning and printing in different formats.
