Emily Carrillo

I am an English major and a Public Policy minor from the University of California Riverside. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask and work well in a team. I am looking to get involved in the public sector and legal field to expand my knowledge.

I have a diverse range of professional experience that includes roles in education, sales, and quality assurance. As an Education Fellow with the University of California Riverside-College Corps, I assisted in teaching elementary students, both in the classroom and through after-school tutoring programs, amassing 450 hours of volunteer work. In the retail sector, I worked as a Sales Representative for Oryan Hat Company, managing financial transactions and ensuring positive customer experiences.

Additionally, I served as a Quality Assurance Technician at Organic Milling, where I supervised warehouse production and motivated team members to meet quality standards.

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a Minor in Public Policy, at the University of California, Riverside.
