Emy Cassidy

With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, I have honed my skills in the film industry as a dedicated 2nd Assistant Director. My journey began as an observer on set; The 2nd AD took off and I went from observing as an interest, to 2nd AD within 10 minutes. I ran the entire project from start to finish. I quickly learned that I am meant for this work, since then, I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from independent films to larger productions.

As a 2nd Assistant Director, I excel in working closely with the actors, set designers and scripty. My organizational skills allow me to coordinate cast and crew, manage call sheets, and facilitate communication between departments. I thrive in fast-paced environments and am committed to maintaining a positive atmosphere on set, even during high-pressure situations.

I am passionate about fostering collaboration and creativity, and I believe that every project is an opportunity to learn and grow. I look forward to continuing my journey in the film industry, contributing my skills and enthusiasm to bring compelling stories to life.
