I am a highly motivated data scientist/ ML engineer stemming from a strong mathematical background, who previously studied Theoretical Physics. I have industry experience in R&D settings, applying deep learning and machine learning to large data sets.
I am currently a System Engineer at Applied Materials, in the Engineered Optics division of CTO- Internal R&D. Here I am on a software engineering team and run Machine Learning for large complex optics simulations for AR waveguide applications.
Previously I was a Junior Scientist/Engineer Cosine Research B.V in the Netherlands ( an R&D company that works closely with the European Space Agency). There I led a Deep Learning/Computer Vision project on LiDAR satellite data.
Master Degree in Computer Science (Data Science Track) from Leiden University. Master Thesis in the Applied Quantum Algorithms Group. (cum laude)
Bachelors Degree in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin. (First Class Honors)
