I‘m originally from Michigan moved to Wisconsin in 2007 during the Michigan recession. I’m a loyal husband of 24 years and dedicated father to three great children: 20, 18 and 15 years old. I’m a goal-oriented leader with a strong commitment to health and safety. I bring a resilient mindset and adaptability in overcoming challenges. I’m committed to continuous self-improvement and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
I am an action-oriented and innovative Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leader with 30 years of diverse experience in the field. My career began in the healthcare sector, where I worked at the University of Michigan's physical therapy/sports medicine clinic, treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries, many of which were work-related. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for my passion in promoting workplace health and safety.
I then joined Parke-Davis/Warner Lambert, which was later acquired by Pfizer, where I specialized in treating musculoskeletal injuries and overseeing the Ergonomics Program to reduce ergonomic risks in the workplace. After the closure of that facility in 2007, I relocated to Wisconsin to join Kohler Co. as a Corporate Ergonomist / Accident Prevention Manager, working within their global EHS team to drive safety and ergonomics initiatives across the organization.
I continued to expand my expertise in EHS through my role as Corporate Division Safety Manager at Bemis Company, which later evolved into a Corporate EHS Manager overseeing operations across the United States and Puerto Rico. When Bemis was acquired by Amcor, I proactively pursued an opportunity at Kimberly-Clark (KC) in 2018, taking on the role of North American (KCNA) Regional EHS Leader. In this position, I provided strategic oversight of EHS operations across the company's manufacturing mills, championing safety culture and operational excellence.
Most recently, I am serving as Pierce Manufacturing Senior Safety Manager. Here, my role includes being both a strategic and tactical leader building a culture of compliance and accountability.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing workplace safety, driving risk reduction programs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in EHS practices
I have a BS in Sports Medicine from Eastern Michigan University.
