People have always been my main focus, no matter what job I am in. I like helping others improve and reach greater levels of achievement. I am able to show patients for a person who is having difficulty with a new concept.

I really enjoy the book “Extreme Ownership” by Jako Willink and Leif Babin. It has taught me skills of taking responsibility for my team and their performance. It also helps my understand how to inspire others to want to take ownership of the goals needed for a successful endeavor.

I am a big fan of work smarter. I enjoy automating tasks using Python. PyCharm is my preferred development environment. I have been leading a team of 4 people to accomplish technical projects like upgrading firmware on over 2000 devices.

My project plans are used throughout our team.

I have worked in Technology for over 20 years. I have been responsible for teams that implement new technology for city governments. I have also been involved from the ground up in startup internet service providers. I have helped decide what technology to use and how to implement it. I have created Cyber Security Policy using the NIST Cyber Security framework. I have worked everything from phone systems to routers.

I have received a Master's Degree in Cyber Security Management from Purdue Global University.
