Genesis Harrell

I am an Elementary Education major dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners. As a college student and student-athlete, I value discipline, consistency, and growth. All qualities in which I bring into educational settings and collaborative environments. I am especially interested in creating engaging, inclusive classrooms that encourage curiosity and confidence in every child. Through academic coursework, athletic leadership, and volunteer experiences, I have developed a strong appreciation for student-centered learning and mentorship. Passionate about education, committed to lifelong learning, and motivated to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and the communities I serve.

I have experience supporting children in educational, athletic, and community-based settings through volunteer work, internships, and leadership involvement. I have assisted teachers and staff with classroom activities, provided one-on-one and small-group support in core subjects, and helped create structured, engaging environments for elementary-aged students. As a student-athlete, I bring strong teamwork, communication, and responsibility skills to group settings. I have also supported school events, student supervision, and daily operations, contributing to safe, organized, and positive experiences for children. My background reflects a commitment to youth mentorship, active engagement, and dependable support in fast-paced environments.

I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Tuskegee University, where I am developing a strong foundation in child development, classroom management, and student-centered instruction. As a second-year student, I am continuing to build practical knowledge and skills that support effective teaching and learning
