Hello, my name is Jackson Daly. I'm currently a 20-year-old Junior Political Science major at Baylor University. My interest and passion for politics started as a kid and into my early teens I was constantly tuned in to local and national political campaigns. I was a Boy Scout and was able to achieve leadership positions within my troop and learned just how important true leadership is to a Troop, on a team and to lead the country. I worked as a substitute manager for Sweetwater Pools in Houston, Texas, where I would educate new members of the company and run pool facilities in flexible situations. I attended FBI Teen Camp to learn more about the inner workings of the organization and how they work together with local, state, and governmental agencies. I grew up in Staten Island, New York, and after my Junior Year of high school, my family moved to Katy, Texas. These are two extremely different areas politically, and through the move, the differences leadership can make were illustrated to me. Now, I am a junior at Baylor University, majoring in Political Science. I am part of a political discussion club that seeks to create meaningful dialogues on the controversial issues of today. I continue to have a deep passion for the inner workings of government, especially in the fields of political strategy and government relations. I would greatly welcome the opportunity to interview for a coveted internship position working in the realm of government and politics.
I worked as an Assistant Manager for a lifeguard company in Houston, where I would manage various pools around an area and educated new members of the company on how to run day-to-day operations.
Currently enrolled as a Junior at Baylor University, studying Political Science.
