Military Experience

During my military service, I provided emergency life support, supervised medics in both domestic and overseas environments, and completed advanced leadership training. My experience as a Platoon Sergeant enhanced my skills in leading under pressure, effective communication, and supporting mission readiness.

Law Enforcement and Public Safety Roles

I am dedicated to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment, upholding the sovereignty and rights of our community. My prior experience with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety expanded my expertise in police, fire, and EMS operations.

Beyond law enforcement, I possess experience in firefighting, rescue operations, quality control supervision, and instruction. As a former Rescue Captain with the Centreville Fire Department, I supervised personnel, developed standard operating procedures, and ensured professional public interactions. My role as a Spanish–English translator in incident and court settings highlights my adaptability and communication skills.

I hold certifications, including EMT, MCOLES, ILEA, FEMA ICS/NIMS, and Advanced Life Support, which demonstrate my readiness to contribute effectively in diverse and dynamic environments.
