My name is Hillary, and I am graduating with my Master's in Clinical Social Work in May of 2024 from Florida Atlantic University. I currently have 2 years experience from clinical substance use internships, and previously worked as the Lead Dependency Case Manager at Childnet and the Case Manager for Family Drug Court. My passion is in the field of substance use, trauma and dual diagnosis.
I have experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have experience with individual DBT Skills clients, I have experience co-facilitating DBT Skills groups, and have over a year experience with group facilitation. I am currently seeking a position as a Primary Therapist in the field Substance misuse recovery.
I am a hard-working and passionate about the field, I am very-much looking forward to being able to contribute to the community as a therapist and support in the process of healing within individuals who suffer from addiction and trauma.
Through my master's program, I have 2 years of clinical internship experience in substance misuse treatment centers, and partial hospitalization programs. Before I began my Master's I worked in Dependency Case Management as a Lead Case Manager, and the Substance Use Case Manager for Family Treatment Court.
