I am a second-year electrophysiology fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), training under Dr. Kenneth Ellenbogen. VCU is among the top referral centers for the evaluation and treatment of complex arrhythmias, which provides me with experience in a variety of procedures, from complex ablations including epicardial ventricular tachycardia ablation and ethanol ablation to lead extraction to implantation of conduction system pacing leads and left atrial appendage occlusion devices. VCU employs world class technology and equipment, allowing me hands-on training with the most sophisticated heart mapping systems and the latest ablation technology, including pulsed field ablation. Additionally, I am also training in emerging procedures such as neuromodulation, CO2 insufflation for epicardial ablation, central sleep apnea device implantation, cardiac contractility modulator device implantation, and stereotactic body radiation therapy for ventricular arrhythmias. VCU’s substantial adult congenital heart disease patient population has further honed my skills in this specialized area. I can humbly state that this outstanding high volume training environment has enabled me to grow into a well-balanced and versatile electrophysiologist.
I will be graduating from electrophysiology fellowship at VCU in June 2025. I completed cardiology fellowship at George Washington University in 2023. My internal residency medicine was at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. After completing residency in 2019, I worked for a year as a nocturnist covering the electrophysiology service at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
I obtained a BS from the University of Maryland in 2012, and an MD from George Washington University in 2016.
