Jack Nguyen

I graduated California State University at Long Beach with a degree in Health Sciences with a focus on community health education. I am passionate about providing health education and encouragement to promote health and the ability to maintain healthy practices. I am currently a case manager with Molina Healthcare as a health educator providing 1 on 1 counseling for weight management and tobacco cessation. I am culturally competent and have excellent customer service skills.

Upon graduation, I had an internship with the Long Beach Health Department with the tobacco education program, assisting with making tobacco policy changes. I am now currently working as a case manager to provide education to our members to help with making lifestyle changes to improve chronic diseases and maintaining a good quality of life. I also provide tobacco cessation counseling to help with quitting smoking.

I have my bachelors degree in Health Science option in community health education from California State University at Long Beach. Currently in the process of taking the CHES exam.
