Jacob Neayem

I’ve been working in the film and TV business for over 10 years now. I began acting in my teenage years and worked professionally through high school. I then went on to earn my BFA in Film Studies from Ryerson University in Toronto, where I focused on producing and crew positions like 1st AD and Production Manager.

After graduating from college, I immigrated to the US in search of career opportunities. I’m writing my own material and working on my development skills, while working other jobs to supplement income. I hope to be involved in producing and writing in the future and think that this Assistant position would help me grow.

My technical experience working on Film/TV productions during my time in college has equipped me with the tools needed to grow with a creative team. I believe those skills, coupled with my work in front of the camera, will make me a good candidate for the Assistant position with Fox Sports. I've played hockey, soccer, baseball and football all my life and have a passion for everything sports. The element of collaboration motivates me and I think I can thrive if given the opportunity.

I've worked as an Actor on many professional productions in Canada. I've gained a lot of on set experience in Film School and love being on production crews. After graduating from Film School I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Film/TV. I write my own material and develop projects with industry colleagues. Looking for an Assistant job to get my foot in the door here in LA.
