To Whom It May Concern,
As a law school graduate with a business development work-ethic, I am an ideal candidate for many opportunities. While I am currently employed full time, I am interested in taking meetings with potential employers.
I graduated law school in May 2021. During my time at Elisabeth Haub School of Law, I was a proud cofounder and President of Association for Civic Engagement, ("ACE"). ACE promoted the application of State/Federal law to political discourse; students from across the political aisle enjoyed lively conversation, civil debate and lectures.
During the summer of my 2L year, I clerked for Hon. Linda S. Jamieson of the Westchester County Supreme Court, Commercial Division. My clerkship gave me an inside view of the judiciary; Justice Jamieson's mentorship has been unrivaled.
My commitment to a career in the law lead me to my current position as Contracts & Procurement Officer at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University ("SUNY-DHSU''). I am currently employed for the foreseeable future. I am one of two law school graduates in the contracts and procurement department.
During my time at SUNY-DHSU, I've been tasked with over twenty commodities vendors ranging from 3M to GE and have recently worked on large-scale construction contracts. I work independently, and the vendors and hospital departments have repeatedly voiced their gratitude for my work.
I am only considering options for full-time roles which offer stability, longevity and a sense of purpose. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, or to schedule a meeting.
