I am a dedicated educator and leader with a passion for fostering student success and building strong school communities. With a background in secondary education and a focus on instructional technology and leadership, I have spent over five years teaching English at Mastery Charter Lenfest, where I also serve as the 8th Grade Team Lead. I thrive on creating engaging, data-driven lessons that meet diverse learning needs while building meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Currently pursuing my Master of Education in School Leadership at Wilmington University, I am committed to continuous growth and innovation in education. Known as the "Mom teacher," I balance firm expectations with a nurturing approach, ensuring every student feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

I have over five years of experience in secondary education, specializing in English instruction, curriculum development, and student engagement. As an English teacher at Mastery Charter Lenfest, I design data-driven lessons aligned with state standards, assess student progress, and implement school-wide systems to support a positive learning culture. In my role as 8th Grade Team Lead, I coordinate activities, mentor colleagues, and contribute to leadership initiatives that enhance student achievement.

My background also includes experience as a building-based substitute, residential aide, and summer camp leader, demonstrating my ability to support students in both academic and personal growth. Currently pursuing a Master of Education in School Leadership at Wilmington University, I am committed to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in History with minors in Education and Africana Studies from Rowan University. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Education in School Leadership at Wilmington University, further strengthening my expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and school administration. My academic background has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support diverse student populations, integrate instructional technology, and adapt teaching strategies to meet various learning needs.
