I am currently a Graduate Assistant Coach at the University of Nebraska Kearney, pursuing a Master’s in Public Communications, and I’m set to graduate this spring. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from Northwest Missouri State University in 2023, where I also competed as a student-athlete.
With a strong passion for social media management, content creation, and digital media, I’ve had the opportunity to manage social media platforms for the University of Nebraska Kearney’s volleyball team, as well as design graphics for a local club volleyball team and a youth rally in Lincoln.
I’m eager to continue growing and learning in my field, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to any team I’m a part of, and embracing new opportunities as they arise.
I currently serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach at the University of Nebraska Kearney, where I handle various responsibilities including day-to-day coaching operations, problem-solving, and coordinating in-season travel logistics, such as meals and team activities. A key part of my role is also managing and creating content for all official social media platforms, which involves planning, scheduling, and developing engaging posts to keep the team’s online presence strong.
In addition to my coaching duties, I’m also a club volleyball coach and a graphic designer/social media manager for Antelope Volleyball Club (AVC). As a coach, I organize and facilitate weekly practices while ensuring consistent and clear communication with parents and athletes. I’m committed to creating a safe and positive environment for the players, where they can learn and grow.
As a graphic designer and social media manager, I played a crucial role in establishing AVC’s social media presence during its inaugural season. This included designing unique visuals and content that not only represent the club’s identity but also attract new athletes in the Western Nebraska area. My work is focused on creating designs that promote and foster community engagement.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Communications at the University of Nebraska Kearney, with a focus on social media and communication management. I am set to graduate in May 2025. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from Northwest Missouri State University in 2023.
