Robert Ross

Recent graduate from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Bachelors in science; Sport Management, Minors in coaching and marketing. Originally from Northern Colorado, currently in Lincoln Nebraska.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Nebraska Wesleyan University, with minors in Coaching and Marketing. As a collegiate baseball player and coaching practicum student under Head Coach Jeff Christy, I’ve gained hands-on experience in player development, practice planning, and performance assessment. These skills have deepened my passion for leadership and mentorship in athletics.

Beyond the field, I’ve built and managed two small businesses: a landscaping company and a hay bucking service. These ventures taught me how to lead teams, handle logistics, communicate with clients, and manage operations efficiently. I also worked as a Porter at Davidson Gebhardt Chevrolet, where I helped with service operations and supported technicians and management with scheduling and appointments.

I’m proficient in Canva, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and video editing, and I hold a CPR certification through the American Red Cross. I’m always looking for new challenges that allow me to grow as a leader and contribute meaningfully to a team.

I’m currently a student at Nebraska Wesleyan University, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with minors in Coaching and Marketing. My education has provided a solid foundation in sports administration, athlete development, and strategic marketing, which I’ve applied directly through my experience as a student-athlete and coaching practicum participant. This academic path has strengthened both my leadership and organizational skills, preparing me for a career in the sports industry.
