I currently live in North Carolina and work as an Exceptional Child (Special Education) teacher in my fifteenth year. I am passionate about building relationships with students and their guardians to create an environment for students to learn and grow as a whole person. I aim for students to be successful inside and outside of the classroom.
We work on skills that will build trust for students to try their best and communicate with me to help support them. Special skills I have mastered is to support learners in the classroom in at least three subject areas while within up to an additional three levels in those content areas. My favorite subject is mathematics.
This semester I support students first, then teachers in the following classes: Math 2, Math 1, Math 3, English 12, English 11, English 10, History, American History, and classes as student needs arise.
