Recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Worked as a freelance graphic designer for Princeton University in New Jersey. Has experience in public relations and social media. Main focus is on branding, including logos and company identity. Very familiar with poster creation and advertising.
At Princeton University, Jon served as a freelance graphic designer for the Central Office of Communications and the Lewis Center for the Arts Office of Communications. There, he created new marketing materials — including course advertisement posters, social media graphics, and department logos — as well as updating copy and layouts for annual/semiannual projects.
During college, Jon interned with Breslow Partners Public Relations Firm in Rittenhouse, Philadelphia. In that time, he ventured into email and social media marketing, photography/videography, copywriting, and database management.
Most recently, Jon has been working as a freelance graphic designer for a startup design consultancy in Princeton, NJ. With this opportunity, he has honed in on each skill listed previously by creating a brand identity and collateral, including the new logo and color scheme, photographing/filming events, and editing such content, as well as crafting client-specific products such as photobooks.
As a recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Drexel University, Jon excelled with Adobe Suite applications — including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign — to establish the necessary skills for print and digital media. The courses he took involved publication and book design, corporate identity, art history, information graphics, and typography. During his co-op internship, he developed a wide range of skills by working with multiple clients for the public relations firm.
For his senior project, he designed a variable font and participated in the senior showcase.
