Podcast Producer/Social Media Intern at The Suave Report (2025-09 – 2026-05)
A year-long internship covering the OKC Thunder that included
- Delivering digital storytelling by editing video and audio clips for viewers to enjoy
- Influencing fans and other social media users to visit the page and generate views
- Studying marketing techniques by observing social trends and how to capitalize on them, which led to opportunities such as an invite to media row at All-Star Weekend and a media invite for the 2026 NBA Draft
College Ambassador at Oklahoma City Thunder (2025-09 – 2026-05)
A year-long fellowship spent encouraging new people to become Thunder fans and retaining the current fans by
- Learning about marketing strategies used to appeal to new audiences and grow a platform
- Promoting OKC Thunder events and games on my social media and on my college campus to other students
- Participating in peer-to-peer group activities and development sessions
Social Media Intern at Historically Black Since (2025-01 – 2025-08)
A semester-long internship spent highlighting the positive impact of HBCUs and HBCU culture by
- Producing over 20 media packages for the weekly Historically Black Since News
- Creating impactful, entertaining, and educational content that showed the impact of prestigious HBCU institutions across the country
- Generating over thousands of views on the Historically Black Since Instagram page that was seen by over 600,000 people
College Fellow at Oklahoma City Thunder Fellows (2024-09 – 2026-05)
A full-year fellowship spent addressing the prevalent opportunity and racial wealth gaps in the Tulsa community by
- Unlocking new opportunities in sports, entertainment, and technology for Black high school and college students in the Tulsa area
- Applying data and analytics to re-imagine key businesses in the Greenwood district for modern society
- Gaining proficiency in essential skillsets and hands-on experiences that are sought out by recruiters and talent acquisition teams
Social Media Specialist/Commentator at Langston University Athletics (2023-08 – 2026-05)
A yearly job that aims to inform Langston University students about all things sports happening on campus, which includes
- Filming halftime and post-game recaps for the students to see
- Capturing footage during the game that is later uploaded to the social media page
- Commentating Sooner Athletic Conference livestreams as a play-by-play and data analyst commentator
News Intern at E.W Scripps News (2023-06 – 2023-08)
A summer internship spent learning the basics of news media and learning how to make an impact in the community using the news
- Traveling with reporters learning how to shoot standups, film b-roll, interview people, and investigate calls to help further the story being worked on
- Supporting pitch meetings and successfully pitched my own idea for the Juneteenth festival, with my package being aired on TV
- Designing art covers using Canva, arranging voiceovers for news packages and other projects, and editing news packages using Final Cut Pro
