Results driven and highly skilled surgical nurse with 14 years of experience in all surgical specialties. I started in the OR as a CST and then transitioned into a role as an OR-RN upon completion of my BSN. Worked at a top tier Level I hospital and a highly rated Orthopedic hospital before beginning a lengthy career as a travel nurse. I have done travel assignments in the OR for the last 12 years at medical centers ranging from critical access to Level I teaching hospitals. I have also written a few articles for the RN.com Newsletter, a continuing education newsletter for nurses.
Recently completed the AAPC-CPC course and passed the exam. Currently enrolled in the AAPC-Practicode course to gain additional coding experience.
