In my role as an STRTP Mental Health Therapist at South Coast Community Services, I gained invaluable expertise in intensive case coordination and individual therapy. Collaborating closely with county social workers, psychiatrists, and direct care staff, I developed exceptional communication and collaboration skills, ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment for clients. My organizational abilities allowed me to maintain timely and accurate DMH charting, adhering to Medi-Cal standards for therapy progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other critical documents.

During my tenure as an Intern Counselor at the U.S Probation Office, I supported individuals with a history of sex offenses or substance abuse. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I played a role in their rehabilitation journey. Responsibilities included drafting court correspondences, referral letters, and treatment plans, as well as overseeing the job search efforts of unemployed offenders. This experience provided me with invaluable exposure to court proceedings, officer meetings, and training opportunities, expanding my knowledge and skill set.

Furthermore, my background in education and community service has further enhanced my professional capabilities. As a dedicated member of AmeriCorps, I provided academic support to a select group of students and organized after-school and in-school events. By creating and implementing engaging lesson plans for small group and individual tutoring sessions, I fostered a positive learning environment. Additionally, as an Afterschool Coordinator, I was able to program initiatives for elementary school students, ensuring unforgettable experiences for over 60 children.

I graduated from Boston University in 2020 with a Masters of Social Worker.
