I am a life-long music student who enjoys building my skill set in guitar and composition. I enjoy teaching others and meeting new people. There is a story that I think sums up what I enjoy most about music. One day in rehearsal I noticed that one of the younger members was having trouble counting a dotted eight sixteenth note rhythm. So I stayed after class and taught him how to write in rhythms. The next day I saw he had come in early and was writing in rhythms for other sections he had a hard time with. It was one of the most rewarding feelings that I've ever experienced. (He's now studying at USC Thornton)
