Keely Hare

I’m a dedicated early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience providing nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for children from infancy through early school age. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Child Development from Orange Coast College along with multiple certifications in curriculum planning and teaching. I currently work as a preschool teacher at Environmental Nature Preschool, where I create emergent curriculum and guide children through nature-based learning experiences. My background includes teaching infants and toddlers, supporting emotional development, and maintaining structured, supportive environments both in homes and classrooms. I’m passionate about fostering creativity, independence, and empathy in young children.

I have over a decade of hands-on experience in early childhood education and childcare. I began as a nanny, caring for infants and young children in private homes, building long-term relationships with families. I later transitioned into preschool education, working with infants to preschool-aged children in both traditional and nature-based settings. My roles have included infant care, creating and implementing emergent curriculum, leading outdoor learning experiences, and facilitating social-emotional growth through positive guidance. In addition to education roles, I’ve held customer-facing positions in retail and food service, developing strong organizational and communication skills.

I hold an Associate’s Degree in Child Development from Orange Coast College, where I also earned multiple Certificates of Achievement in areas such as Child Development Curriculum, Associate Teacher, Core, and Assistant Teacher. This education has provided me with a strong foundation in early childhood development, curriculum planning, and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
