I am a former doctor of physical therapy and current front-end software engineer. I am passionate about finding new ways to help people through the use of technology.
After completing my doctorate degree in physical therapy, I practiced for 8 years at an inpatient rehabilitation facility. While working as a PT I developed excellent communication skills, the ability to work well on diverse teams, and a deep understanding of what makes people tick.
I completed an intense, 8-month coding bootcamp at Turing School of Software and Design. I learned JavaScript, CSS, HTML, mocha/chai, Cypress, TypeScript, and GraphQL. I completed several projects, both individually and in groups.
