Kennedy Ogolla

I am passionate about animal care, husbandry, and use in experiments. I have experience working with laboratory animals including mice, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I have previously worked as a veterinarian for different projects that used the Nile monitor lizards, mice, cattle, goats, and camels, and rabbits . I am proficient in Microsoft office, adaptable and a fast learner. I am looking for exciting opportunities in research and laboratory animal care and use. 

Before my relocation to USA, I was employed as a research scientist (trainee) with the Biotechnology Research Institute – of Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (BRI-KALRO) for 5 years. During this time, I worked on more than five research projects and published more than 10 peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals. I gained extensive experience in this position in project management, teamwork, research implementation, data entry, and preparation of technical reports.

I have a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Diagnosis degrees from the University of Nairobi, Kenya
