Kim Brunson

I am currently in my 26th year of teaching in the West Plains schools. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, 5-8 ELA, and K-8 physical education. I absolutely love what I do!

I am a compassionate and dedicated teacher in my 26th year. I am currently teaching kindergarten students but have taught almost every K-8th grade in some compacity, whether that be kindergarten, first grade, 5-8 grade ELA, or K-8 grade physical education. I love working with my kinders to build that foundation to be successful in school. I want to foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for my students, no matter the learning needs. I believe communication with my parents is a huge factor in their child being/feeling successful in school.

I have a Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University in 2009. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Arkansas State University in 1999.
