I have my degree in Human Services. At 15 I started as a nurse aide and loved helping others. Also I obtained my Medication aide Certification. Nursing has always been my calling, as I got older I wanted to expand my education and I obtained my bachelors and wanted to help people in the line of social work.
I also became a foster mom and this pursued my education even more. I have a heart for helping and I may care too much! Currently I am an admissions coordinator at a local nursing home where I bring new patients into the facility.
With my many years in health care I am a multitasker, have a heart of hold and a great listener. My roles now, I have to look over history and physical of patients and there meds and insuarance to see if we can accept them into the facility. I keep track of bed availability and setup initial billing.
I am responsible for the tours of the facility and making sure they have a good first impression. I treat them how I want to feel welcome. I have experience working with children as well as elderly, being a foster mom and I also worked with The cabinet of child protection.
I keep my job very professional and to the utmost standards. Twenty five years in nursing and just a few now with my bachelors has made me a great role model to many.My knowledge and skills help me do any job with great pride and satisfaction.
2021 I obtained my bachelors of science. I continue to get training course with me being foster parent. I work for Nhc healthcare, I started there in 2015 and left in 2022 for 6 months and came back to a new role with my bachelors degree (university of Cumberlands). While gone I worked gor child protection in monroe county, I only left there due to my old workplace asking me back with different job offer and significant raise.
