Kwangchae Im is a student of the concurrent master degree program in the Public Policy and Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley. His research interests include nuclear security, nuclear nonproliferation and North Korea's nuclear strategy.
He is from the Republic of Korea and an active duty Army officer in the Korean Army. Prior to coming to UC Berkeley, he joined diverse military missions not just including national defense missions inside the Korean Peninsula but also UN Peacekeeping Mission in Lebanon. Kwangchae recieved B.A's degree in International Relations from the Korea Military Academy.
