Hello,
I am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant/ Licensed Massage Therapist. I have been a CCMA for 20 plus years. I am currently enrolled in Penn Foster for Medical Billing & Coding. I have decided to take a break in the Medical field to get my cerification in Medical Billing & Coding, I have been currently working as a LMT over a year to fit my online schedule. I would like to get back in the medical field as a CCMA & advance in my career.

I am a CCMA. I have worked in Primary Care., Urgent Care, Hospitals, Ambulatory Care & Specialties. My Clinical duties were trialing patients, EKG's, venipuncture, spirometry, cleaning and stocking rooms, prescription refills, manage phone systems, sanitize tables, mandate proper hygiene, patient call backs in regards to testing, exucate patients on treatment, techniques and confidentiality, schedule initial and follow up appointments, record patient information, take vitals, order and stock supplies, clean instruments, assist with medical records, assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations for medications and testing.
I have my Associates Degree of Applied Science Massage Therapy at CSM in La Plata, MD, Diploma for Esthetics at Hair Academy II in Hillcrest Heights, MD and CCMA cerification at NHA.
I am currently working at Massage Envy and my past job as a CCMA a little over a year ago was Medstar Otolaryngology in Waldorf, MD for four years.
