Extremely hard working and easily teachable, like to learn new skills. My passion for environmental science creates genuine interest in any opportunity to learn about the field. This interest started after hearing about the gray wolves in Yosemite National Park and how taking them out of the ecosystem completely changed the dynamics.
From there it piqued my interest in altering ecosystems for species to thrive and with changes in ecosystems from human causes, I want to use my skills to restore environments for mammals. I have an interest specifically for land animals, but would not be opposed to marine life as well. I recently did some work in a wetland doing fish surveys and enjoyed that as well.
I am very open to working in new environments and ecosystems to find my niche. As a very intrinsically motivated individual I am always striving to be the highest quality employee in my position.
I have experience with field work, data collection, and surveys. I have practiced many different survey methods like, vegetation surveys, pollinator, bird, wetland, and oak tree surveys.
I am about to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management, from California State University Channel Islands.
