Leona Ngo

I am passionate about providing the best patient care by applying my clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills.

I previously worked for Walgreens as an Intern Pharmacist and Graduate Intern Pharmacist over a span of 2 years. I acquired a great amount of experience from these two positions which includes providing appropriate consultation to patients, caring for their needs, solving insurance issues, providing immunization, maintaining inventory while keeping the workflow intact. There are times where I was able to provide consultations to patients who could only speak Chinese Mandarin or Vietnamese as requested.

These two positions also enhanced my communication skills with other healthcare providers as well as my colleagues. I have learned to keep the workplace professional yet personable to allow colleagues to feel that we are a team with one ultimate goal of providing the best patient care.

I also worked as an intern at the Palomar Medical Center shadowing Clinical Pharmacists to observe the workflow within a clinical setting. I was able to assist Pharmacy Technician with simple tasks and learned the daily basis of the Pharmacy operation.

I graduated from Chapman University School of Pharmacy in 2018 earning a degree in Doctor of Pharmacy.
