Leonard Dirilo

My name's Leonard Dirilo, and I am a freelance photographer and recent graduate of San Diego State University. I have been doing portrait photography on a professional level since 2019, although my journey in this specific field started in 2016. Photography aside, I also have an affinity to languages and linguistics, which is also the field I have been studying in university for the last five years.

As a freelance photographer with seven years of experience, I have developed expertise in portrait, lifestyle, and events photography. I possess exceptional composition, lighting, and image editing skills, allowing me to consistently meet artistic goals and project specifications. With my problem-solving and task-prioritization skills, I am a reliable candidate who is always ready to take on challenges and help teams succeed. My dedication to customer service and trend tracking, as well as my ability to troubleshoot problems and build successful solutions, make me an excellent communicator who is able to exceed goals and cultivate positive relationships.

In addition to my technical expertise, I also have a degree in Linguistics and minored in Asian studies. With my training in critical thinking, research, and cross-cultural competence, I have a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and semantics, which allows me to communicate effectively with clients and understand their needs. My linguistic expertise has proven valuable in various contexts, including education, research, translation, and interpretation. Additionally, my understanding of different cultural contexts has given me a unique perspective in portrait, lifestyle, and events photography, allowing me to capture the essence of different cultures and communicate the beauty and diversity of the world through my photography.
