I began my career as an elementary educator and interventionist, spending 10 years in the classroom before transitioning into literacy instructional coaching and district-level consulting. I now serve as a nonprofit-based reading tutoring program leader, where I design and oversee high-impact literacy supports in partnership with MNPS schools. While my roles have evolved, my focus has remained consistent: strengthening instructional systems, supporting educators, and accelerating student growth through student-centered practices.
I have over 10 years of experience in elementary education, literacy intervention, instructional coaching, and program leadership. My work has spanned classroom teaching, grade-level leadership, district-wide consulting across 30+ schools, and nonprofit-based tutoring program management in partnership with MNPS. Across these roles, I have focused on strengthening instructional systems, supporting educator development, and accelerating literacy growth for diverse learners.
I hold a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, both from the University of Mississippi. My graduate studies focused on instructional design, assessment, and evidence-based literacy practices, which continue to inform my work in coaching, intervention, and program leadership.
