I am a customer-success-focused technical support specialist and technician. I have worked in the field for 9 years in an IT Specialist role, a CAD/CAM technician role, and a Member Services Representative role. I am a quick learner of new software, a natural troubleshooter, and always strive to make my role and daily tasks more efficient. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Network Operations & Security from Western Governors University, and am a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA).
I have worked for 6 years at Sesame Communications in a customer-facing technical support role for proprietary dental software and website/DNS hosting. I was promoted in my role in 2021. I have also worked for 2 years in a dental CAD/CAM technical support position at 3DBioCAD in Renton, Washington (now located in Kent).
Both of these roles include troubleshooting network and PC issues, as well as training dentists across the USA on proprietary software/hardware. I have also worked an IT Technician role at Whatcom Community College for a year, where I was in charge of hardware repairs and replacements, software image maintenance, updates and upgrades for all IT hardware and software, and ticket management for staff across the college.
I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Network Operations & Security from Western Governors University, which also led to me being CCNA-certified, as well as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certified, ITIL4 certified, and Linux certified. I am very familiar with RBAC and ACL best practices, as well as TCP/IP, DNS, and Firewall usage.
