I will soon graduate from Western Kentucky University with a Master's of Public Health and a Health Education certificate. I am proficient in all Microsoft Office services and have experience with community outreach to reduce risky behaviors through the Bullitt County Drug-Free Communities Grant and Partners in Prevention Coalition. I am currently working through Western Kentucky University as a research assistant to evaluate a sexual health curriculum aimed at reducing teen pregnancies.
I am working with Western Kentucky to evaluate a sexual health education program. I am responsible for demographic and policy research and assisting with creating and analyzing surveys and focus group interviews with students, parents, and teachers from the school district.
I have interned for Drug-Free communities, where I was responsible for assisting in delivering an anti-vaping curriculum and providing drug searches and drug tests to students at Bullitt County schools. I also partook in implementing Partner in Prevention coalition meetings that were aimed at bringing together different sectors of the community to discuss community issues and how they should be handled.
I also interned for Astra Behavioral Health, where I was responsible for networking with other mental health facilities in hopes of collaborating with Astra's new drug rehabilitation program. I was also tasked to promote mental health and drug rehabilitation services with local businesses and community members.
I will graduate in May 2023 from Western Kentucky University with a Master's in Public Health and a Health Education Certificate.
In 2022, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Western Kentucky University.
