I am a Biology (BA) student at Metropolitan State University with a strong interest in science, agriculture, and community service. I am bilingual in Hmong and English and value hard work, continuous learning, and meaningful connections with others. Growing up in a farming family has shaped my appreciation for hands-on work and dedication, while my healthcare experience has strengthened my compassion and sense of responsibility.
I am motivated to keep learning, expand my skills, and contribute positively wherever I work.
I bring diverse experience in agriculture, healthcare, and laboratory settings. For over 10 years, I have been involved in my family’s farmers market business, where I assisted with land preparation, seed starting, transplanting, harvesting, and direct sales to customers. This role strengthened my work ethic, time management, and customer service skills.
In addition, I have clinical and laboratory experience as a Specimen Accessioner at Labcorp, an Optometry Technician Assistant at Costco, and a trainee with the Saint Paul EMS Academy. Through these roles, I developed strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, patient communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
