I’m currently a pharmacy technician looking to move up in my career or change my career path. I bring a variety of experience in many areas. Empathy is my passion. One of my best strengths is the ability to think ”outside the box” to show my creativity and quick resolutions. I am a hard worker and I show up.
From June 2011 I have worked as a lead pharmacy technician which includes filling prescriptions typing prescriptions solving insurance issues coming up with creative ways to resolve patient issues. I’ve interviewed potential employees and performed scheduling of technicians. I have been certified as an Immunizer and I have my national certification as a technician.
From 2002 I was a pharmacy technician before I was promoted. That was a part-time job for me until June 2011. The only difference between what I did after June 2011 and before was I did not do interview interviewing of potential employees or schedule and I was not a certified Immunizer at that time
From September 1998 until June 2011 I worked full-time as a paraprofessional teaching assistant. I worked with all kinds of students in regular classrooms and in special education classrooms this has given me the ability to know how to handle different personalities. I helped with lesson plans, documentations, and small group teaching assignments.
I took time off between my employment right out of college until I worked in the school system.
Right out of college I worked as a marketing specialist for an educational business. I also have experience as a medical collector, which is a position I held while I was going to college.
