Mary Ann Jacques

I am a school psychologist in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I worked for the public school district here for 30 years and retired in 2021. I am looking for part time employment for 3 days a week and am open to considering both remote and hybrid scheduling.

I have strong speaking and written communication skills and enjoy being part of multidisciplinary teams. I am knowledgeable about the laws regulating Pupil Appraisal services in Louisiana and am passionate about providing thorough evaluations for my students to guide the development of special services to meet all of their needs.

Beginning in 1991, I worked for 8 years as a classroom teacher for middle schoolers then another 22 as a school psychologist for my local public school district. Since retirement in 2021, I have held part time positions as a school psychologist at 3 public school districts in Louisiana. I have experience working with children from ages 3 through 12th grade and with students of all 1508 classifications.

I hold a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in school psychology from McNeese State University. I am currently certified as a school psychologist, supervisor of school psychology, child search coordinator, and secondary English teacher.
